Coach Brandi Chastain in Pasadena with the Olympic Committee #LA2024

Hey Thorns!
When LA2024 is selected by the IOC to host the Olympic Games, this is where will we road trip to to watch the quarter, semi and FINALS for the OLYMPIC GAMES! Perhaps we could even be watching a Thorns player wearing the Red, White and Blue for the USA in a match. Why not?! Those players in 5th grade right now will be graduating high school in 2024, so let's get moving on the rest of your youth soccer lives and have some FUN together. I look forward to seeing you at the next Thorns Tryout.

Thorns Hire St. Mary's Associate Head Coach Tina Estrada

The California Thorns are excited to announce an amazing addition to their coaching staff for the girls' Development Academy. Tina Estrada will be joining Brandi Chastain as the USDA prepares to launch the inaugural season this summer. Bringing on Coach Estrada is a continuation of our sincere commitment to hire the best coaches to develop players at the highest level and to mentor the Thorn girls both on and off of the field.  Her experience at the college level and her focus on college recruiting will be an incredible asset to the girls in the program. In just her first season at Saint Mary's in 2015, Estrada quickly made her mark. She was named the NCAA National Assistant Coach of the Year!
